The information displayed on the Machines by Severity reports at the database, plant, and area levels can be exported to Comma Separated Value (CSV) format for use with other programs, such as Microsoft Excel.
Click the Export to CSV button to export the information displayed to a CSV file with the default name of MachinesBySeverity_2035424766.csv – the series of numbers will differ, as it is a unique number.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you will likely be prompted to Save or Save As the exported file. If you click Save As, you can specify where you want to save the file and rename it (as recommended in the next step). If you click Save, the file will be saved to the default download folder on your computer.
[Optional] Rename the file to something intuitive to meet your needs (for example, SeverityReport_ALLPlants_Aug2018.csv).
Tip! If you open the report in Microsoft Excel, you will likely need to make a few adjustments to ensure the information displays properly. If hashtags (#########) appear in any columns, it means the columns are not wide enough to display the information. Widen each column until the hashtags turn to text.
